Learn” tricks of the trade” that will make you feel confident and look professional at your first audition while learning how the VO Business works. You’ll achieve basic skills while having fun behind the microphone with a live engineer! By the final week you will have a recorded copy of your work in the booth that shows your unique vocal styles in preparation for making your first Professional VO Demo!

WEEK 1
Introduction to basic skills for finding and recording auditions. Including a Q and A with instructor and a pro audio engineer.

WEEK 2
Work on voice exercises to ensure a supported voice and perfect diction.  Learn how to approach copy and choose the right V.O. style to match the client’s needs.

WEEK 3
Ask an Engineer! All questions on technical process or equipment addressed.

WEEK 4

Everyone brings printed copy and a pencil to begin learning the technique of 

“Mapping” a script as taught in the best Speech and Drama Departments.

WEEK 5
Make final choices on copy for recording session. Each student will get one-on-one time while reading.

WEEK 6
RECORD! With a live director and pro engineer!
